For David & Monique their Brighton home was the missing piece of the puzzle for their family.

As parents, David and Monique have made it their priority to give their family the best life they can and for them, this meant a family home to call their own.

Building the single storey Meridian 27 a part of our Gallery Collection, Monique and David finally achieved their goal of not just owning a home but building a home for their family to feel safe in and to call their own. Monique explained, "because of us renting for so many years, we sort of did things backward. We got married, had the kids but never really saved for a home. So yeah it was something we thought we were a long way off from achieving and so every step of the way we would just think how lucky are we?" David and Monique quickly realised that their dream of owning not just a home, but a home they built from scratch was within grasp for their young family, and once they engaged Brighton Homes their dream finally became a reality. David clearly remembers the moment of receiving the keys, describing it as "it was just an accomplishment. For me, it was that missing piece of the puzzle that I just completed, and for me, it was a really proud moment for all our hard efforts." Monique added, "We just felt really grateful and really lucky that we picked such a good builder."

We enjoyed the whole process

David said, "I think going through the whole experience. It was just fun. We enjoyed the whole process. Every time we drove past and we saw something different it was really exciting to see. But the thing is we had a lot of updates as well so just going there and having that confirmation and seeing it was really nice."

It was just an accomplishment

"Yeah, that feeling of accomplishment and knowing that we did it. Just seeing the overall finish. We were so happy, yeah we were wrapped and you know Monique's emotion is exactly what we felt. It was tear-jerking. I think we all actually cried."


 

"We never worried because we knew they were such a big company we knew we didn’t have to worry about them actually getting the materials or if there would be delays. For us, we just knew it would happen, it was just a matter of when."
