GOVT. HOMEBUILDER GRANT
Eligibility To access the $25,000 Government HomeBuilder Grant, owner-occupiers must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- you are a natural person (not a company or trust);
- you are aged 18 years or older;
- you are an Australian citizen;
- you meet one of the following two income caps: $125,000 per annum for an individual applicant based on your 2018-19 tax return or later; or $200,000 per annum for a couple based on both 2018-19 tax returns or later;
- you enter into a building contract between 4 June 2020 and 31 December 2020 to either:
- build a new home as a principal place of residence, where the property value does not exceed $750,000;
- or substantially renovate your existing home as a principal place of residence, where the renovation contract is between $150,000 and $750,000, and where the value of your existing property does not exceed $1.5 million i.e. Knockdown Rebuild;
- construction must commence within three months of the contract date. Clients must satisfy HIA Contract Clause 2, 7 & 10 in order for construction to commence.
HOMEBUILDER GRANT GUARANTEE
Brighton Homes does not provide any advice as to your eligibility for any grants and it is important that you seek advice about these matters and keep updated with changes. The grant application is solely the clients responsibility and must be applied for in line with the government criteria. The grant will only be paid by Brighton to customers who meet the government criteria but have been declined by Treasury due to timeframes not being met. This offer is for a limited time and can end without notice.

6.5kW Solar System is available when you enter into a contract to allow the supplier to install the solar system on your roof. The supplier will own the solar output for the first 60 months and you will have the option to buy the solar electricity produced at a discounted rate during this period. After 60 months you will own the solar system outright and have access to all the benefits of solar energy for your own use and to sell back to the grid. You have the option to purchase the system outright at any time. To access the discounted solar electricity, you must have an account with Powershop, who will offer a discount off its standard rates for all solar electricity used for the first 60 months. Customer is free to change electricity suppliers at any time. This offer applies to all standard greenfield developed blocks. Additional costs may apply for Acreage, Knock Down Rebuild or non-standard installations.

Certainty Pricing refers to costs of the slab only. All site costs will be fixed up front in your first quote on all greenfield blocks. All acreage and knockdown rebuild sites will require an inspection prior to fixing the site costs. Fixed site costs includes slab upgrades over S class slab (M, H1, H2, E, P), spoil removal, piering, rock and rock removal and drop edge beams. Fixed site costs exclude retaining walls, wind rating over N2, BAL and acoustic ratings, flooding hazards and any additional piering required for pools.
